Brief
Description of Activities performed
Perform all the Food related matters viz. issue
of MS/HSD Retail outlet licence, Regd. Seller of HSD licence, approval for
the licence of Baby Food both Retail and Wholesale and to take necessary
action over the orders of Government. Beside this, this section have to
perform the works of Annapurna Yojona, Antodaya Anna Yojona, and to
approve the list of beneficiaries / families of the two schemes since
identified by the concerned Gram Samsad / Ward Committee for writing
Ration Cards and distribution of foodgrains and report returns thereof.
The licences of MS/HSD Retail outlet and Regd. Seller of HSD are also
renewed from the section in the end of every calender year. The proposal
of the D.C. (F & S) / S.C. (F & S) in regard to issuance of any
new M.R. Dealer or M.R. Distributors licence are being approved from this
section. The Work of procurement of Rice by different agencies are also
monitor from the section.
